Bison Charges Snowmobilers in Yellowstone [VIDEO]

It’s every visitor’s dream to get up-close to Yellowstone’s wildlife…but not THIS close.

These visitors were having a fun day snowmobiling on the park’s 200 miles of groomed trails when they came across a curious (and potentially aggressive) bison.

A few of the snowmobilers wanted to keep moving, so they tried to navigate around the animal.

“Not so fast” says the bison.

On the one hand, a charging bison is scary. On the other, if he wanted to attack the snowmobilers, he would have.

Bison are remarkably timid creatures, only showing violence towards each other during mating season (which starts in July, btw). And hey, maybe he just wanted to play. Who knows?
