Check Out this Crazy Footage of Two Elk Fighting on a Highway [VIDEO]

BrysquickhitsWe cull the internet in search of the latest outdoors-related tidbits, YouTube clips, photos, memes, you name it. Stuff you HAVEN’T seen before, hopefully. It’s that time of year again. We’re deep in the rut.

The bulls have only one thing on their mind. They’re bugling like crazy and fighting it out for dominance, often without regard for their own safety. Normally they’d take off at the sight of a vehicle…but not during the rut.

Today’s video comes to us from Facebook user Ellyn C., who was driving on Highway M in Clam Lake, Wisconsin, last week when she and her husband spotted two elk fighting in the middle of the road.

WARNING: Some mild NSFW language.

There’s no clear winner. It looks like the bull on the left gets the upper hand, but he can’t drive the other bull off, and they meet again in the middle of the road.

Just listen to the racks CRACK as they try desperately to bulldoze each other into submission.

Awesome stuff. Thanks again to Ellen C. for the terrific footage.
