Deer Hunter Shoots at Buck Despite the Obvious Presence of Two Bass Boats [VIDEO]

Two bass boats were in the middle of a fishing tournament when they witnessed a buck chasing a hot doe across Lake Mitchell.

Interestingly, fishermen on both boats grabbed their phones and started recording.

Nobody could’ve predicted what would happen next.

I had a scary moment yesterday while fishing. It was a very cold morning so I was being very careful wearing my life jacket and not getting in a rush. Around midday I was fishing in a pocket and heard something running down the ridge. I looked to see a buck chasing 2 doe. Being a hunter also I always like to video the game I see while fishing. Watch this video all the way to the end to see what happens. Only about 25 yds from me. I am glad the guys in the other boat and myself are ok. #whatanidiot

A nearby deer hunter took a shot at the buck while he was still in the water, scaring the crap out of the poor anglers. And judging from the audio, the hunter was WAY too close to have not seen the fishermen.

Not to mention that you should never, ever shoot into water.

So, all sorts of dumb decisions being made in this video.

Here’s the footage from the other boat:
