CVA Optima V2 .50-Caliber Muzzleloader With Scope Mount

The hugely-popular Optima Black Powder Rifle is back and better than ever. The V2 represents the second generation of CVA’s best-performing affordable rifle, which means you get all the best features for a price you can afford.

The 26-inch-long Bergara 416 fluted stainless barrel with Bullet Guiding Muzzle sports 1:28-inch twist rifling, and that length makes this rifle easy to maneuver whether you’re in a tree stand or walking through the deep woods. The “neutral center of gravity” trigger makes it well-balanced and easy to shoulder. And thanks to the quick-release breech plug, removal takes just a simple twist. No tools required.

Own a muzzleloader that’s as fun as it is practical with this great smokepole. An ambidextrous solid composite thumbhole stock in Realtree Xtra camo pattern allows for great grip and aiming.

The Quick Release Breech Plug is the only plug on the market you can remove after firing using only your fingers. Plus, the stock and forestock have been upgraded with SoftTouch coating and rubber grip panels for comfortable, secure shooting in any weather. A CrushZone recoil pad softens the shock.

Seasoned muzzleloaders will like the smooth, break action and integrated scope mount, which is drilled and tapped for a scope. An aluminum extendable loading rod cocking spur rounds out the setup.

The CVA Optima V2 .50-Caliber Muzzleloader has a 14-inch length of pull. It measures 41 inches overall, and weighs 6 pounds, 7 ounces.

Backed by a lifetime CVA warranty, the future of black powder is here!
