    I am wondering if the Remington .223 is big enough for deer ,coyotes and a few larger animals to put on the ground .if so whatgrain weight should I use and etc.thanks

      In short, yes. Depends on the twist rate of the barrel. 1:7 lighter rounds, good for messing around. 1:9 stabilizes the heavier rounds, like 76 gr and 82 gr. They will stop any you mentioned with ease.

    Kudos to Mossberg!
    I have very high praise for this Mossberg MVP in 5.56(Walmart $558). I put a picatinny rail ($22) on it, Warne QD steel rings ($36) & a Nikon 4-12×40 ProStaff ($194). Total cost $810.
    It shoots well with good quality ammo (55-64gr), but is consistently <1MOA@200yds with IMI 77gr match ammo. Almost as good as my .220Swift, Ruger M77 with a Douglas bbl ( very expensive) .+ 70gr hand loads
    This caliber rolls 'yotes no problem and good for neck shots on deer @170yds with little effort.
    ONE NEGATIVE….. this rifle did have a problem with the firing pin through bolt face alignment and did malfunction.
