We cull the internet in search of the latest outdoors-related tidbits, YouTube clips, photos, memes, you name it. Stuff you HAVEN’T seen before, hopefully. If it’s amusing, entertaining, educational or astonishing, you’ll find it here. Check back every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and see what’s new.
A man and woman were out driving at midnight a few weeks back when they came upon a bull moose walking down the median.
And WHAT a moose. Look at the size of him! He could trample a whole city block in one pass.
Of course, every passing car slows down to take a look at him. One SUV even drives in reverse alongside him.
The guy filming just so happens to have a thick Alaskan accent—and also sounds like a hockey player—so we get some fun narration (only half of which I understand).
Someone in the comments mentioned that the bull’s back legs look a little raw, and surmised that he was perhaps hit by a car or attacked by wolves or coyotes.
I hadn’t noticed until I read the comment, but his legs definitely look a little off. Hope he’s alright. It’d be a shame for such an enormous and beautiful animal to be undone by a truck or by predators.
