Man Braces the AR-15 On His Nose to Prove a Point [VIDEO]

BrysquickhitsWe cull the internet in search of the latest outdoors-related tidbits — YouTube clips, photos, memes, you name it. Stuff you HAVEN’T seen before, hopefully. If it’s amusing, entertaining, educational or astonishing, you’ll find it here. Check back every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and see what’s new.

A writer for the New York Daily News wrote a piece recently claiming that shooting the AR-15 gave him “a temporary form of PTSD” and bruised his shoulder.

Avid shooter Chris Waller didn’t like the article, and took to his YouTube channel to set the record straight.

Without resorting to insults, Chris calmly explained that it simply isn’t possible for an AR to bruise your shoulder, even when held improperly.

To demonstrate, Chris braced the rifle on his nose, and popped off a few rounds.

And – guess what? – no damage at all.

Look, I’m not going to give the name of the NY Daily News writer who wrote the piece, and I think he deserves a pass – people fear what they don’t understand, and at least he gave shooting a try.

But the gun rights debate deserves better.
