Robert Ekstrom

Date: November 23, 2013
Equipment Used: Mossberg 12-gauge pump, Remington AccuTip Slug
Location: Centra Illinois
Pictured (left to right): Robert Ekstrom
Trophy Size: 180 Class
Trophy Species: Whitetail Deer
Story: I was hunting on family farm land for the first time. It was the last five minutes of daylight with 20 mph winds in my face @ 16 degrees. I could not feel my feet or hands and almost gave up, but out he comes. I took the shot at 65 yards. It seemed like slow motion. He did a total flip and never got back up. BIG BUCK DOWN my first ILLINOIS GIANT. I will never forget that day!
