Bow Hunter is Forced to Kill Mountain Lion in Self-Defense [VIDEO]

Elk hunter Trevor Brown was lucky to escape without injury after a mountain lion started stalking him during a hunt.

Trevor picked a spot in a copse of trees in the middle of a field and was patiently waiting for a glimpse at an elk. He kept hearing rustling behind him, and when he finally took a closer look, he saw a terrifying sight: a mountain lion staring him down.

The mountain lion hissed at Trevor and refused to back down, so Trevor did what any of us would do: he nocked an arrow and let it fly.

Thankfully, Trevor made his one shot count. The arrow passed straight through the cougar, tearing him up inside. The animal managed to make it about 20 yards before collapsing on the ground.

That’s when Trevor grabbed his camera and recounted the harrowing tale.

If I were him, I’d bring a pistol next time.
