The Florida Council of the International Fly Fishers Expo 2015 is set for October 23-24 at the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) Museum (pictured above) in Dania Beach (Fort Lauderdale), Florida.
Hours are noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, October 23, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. October 24. The two-day fee of $25 includes the October 23 evening reception and registration for any special programs. Organizers say you will find clinics for everyone, including new classes and clinics for women and teens. Kids 16 and younger get in free accompanied by an adult.
Organizers Tom Logan and David Olson already have commitments from Chico Fernandez, Jon Cave, Andy Mill, Capt. Rob Fordyce, Capt. Rich Keating, Capt. Joe Gonzalez, Pat Ford, Capt. Honson Lau , Cordell Baum (aka The Bonefish Whisperer), Capt. Bou Bosso, Capt. Pete Greenan, David Lambroughton, Capt. Jamie Allen, and Capt. Mark Benson.
In addition to those special guests, the 2015 Fly Fishing Expo offers many programs, classes, clinics, and workshops from the state and region’s most talented guides, casting instructors, fly tiers, and there’s a youth program.
