An integrated fan increases the heating capacity of this unit, blending radiant and convection style heat to give you the best of both worlds. Plus, it’s packed with a host of safety features, so you can work hard or set your hook without worry.
The Mr. Heater Hunting Buddy uses propane gas to deliver 4,000, 9,000 or 18,000 BTU per hour. It’ll heat up to 400 square feet for up to 220 hours via quiet, clean odor-free operation. A single control start knob offers three heat settings: low, medium and high.

Other features include swivel regulators, automatic low oxygen shut-off system and accidental tip-over safety shut-off. It runs off of two, one-pound propane cylinders, and can also be powered using a 20-pound propane cylinders for up to 108 hours of run time using an optional hose assembly (sold separately.) The fan operates on 4 D batteries (not included).

    Will it run without batteries? What safety tests have been done indoors to test for carbon monoxide, or other dangerous fumes?
