View_of_day: Southern

I was on the north fork of the Edisto River canoeing when I saw him fly across the river, and sit in a tree. I held the canoe against the current, and snapped about 20- to 30 pictures before I got this one.

I walked up to a pond and saw this white heron standing near the water. I went around the pond to get closer to it, being careful to keep trees between us so it wouldn’t see me.
