We cull the internet in search of the latest outdoors-related tidbits — YouTube clips, photos, memes, you name it. Stuff you HAVEN’T seen before, hopefully. If it’s amusing, entertaining, educational or astonishing, you’ll find it here. Check back every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and see what’s new.
Just a heads-up…if you have a weak stomach, turn back now. This video gets pretty graphic. Now that we got that out of the way, let’s talk about the video.
This is Todd Orr of Bozeman, Montana, and he’s one tough dude.
While walking through the woods, he got mauled by a female grizzly, who, not surprisingly, was with her two cubs.
The grizzly roughed him up pretty bad. And to make matters worse, he was three miles from his vehicle. Before heading to the hospital, he made a short video that provides some insight. He had bear spray, but it didn’t do the job. When the grizzly started to attack, he protected his face and the back of his neck at the expense of everything else.
But hey, he’s alive, his legs work, his internal organs are intact, and he can still see. Could’ve been worse.
Maybe a Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk in the venerable .44 Magnum would’ve helped. Heck, even shooting it into the dirt might have worked.
WARNING: There is some NSFW language — one “s” word, to be exact — but this is such an interesting video that we had to share it anyways.

Really? You put a story and note there is a video and then you take the “graphic” video off the site? Why even put the “story” on at all? Nice. Really nice.
Thanks

The video should be working now. It was taken down by Facebook.
