Hilarious Reactions of Folks Eating Wild Game for the First Time [VIDEO]

BrysquickhitsWe cull the internet in search of the latest outdoors-related tidbits — YouTube clips, photos, memes, you name it. Stuff you HAVEN’T seen before, hopefully. If it’s amusing, entertaining, educational or astonishing, you’ll find it here. Check back every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and see what’s new.

Today’s video comes to us from our friends over at Realtree, and it’s a good one.

They sat a bunch of non-hunters down for a meal consisting of quail, gator, brim, frog legs, elk, whitetail, and wild turkey.

None of these folks has ever eaten wild game before, and it’s interesting to see how they react. That gator must have been too old or too big, because we’ve had gator meat before, and it was delicious. And, of course, everyone loves frog legs and venison.

OK, who cooked the quail? Because if they didn’t all love it and think it was one of the best things they have ever tasted, someone didn’t cook it right. All of the other is really good to excellent, and I have had it all, but I have never seen people eat quail and not love it.

I was wondering about that myself. It’s the only one of these that I’ve never eaten, so I have no frame of reference, but game birds by and large are delicious, so the problem was probably in the preparation.

Great company to deal with. I have bought many things through the years.
Good video. Shows how prejudiced people can be. Most of the things cooked are excellent when cooked properly.
