Nothing like some beautiful underwater footage of a beautiful fish like the lake trout.
Chris M. of the Sea-Money Fishing channel was ice fishing for brook trout on “Lake X” in Pennsylvania when he found a spot that just kept on giving.
Chris was actually there to make a different video, but when he realized that the footage would give away his secret spot (probably somewhere in the Poconos), he decided to make a video of brookies reacting to underwater jigs and baits.
We’re thankful he did.
The footage is guaranteed to pump you up.

Awesome.
“What started as a super slow dismal ice fishing turned into some awesome sight fishing,” Chris said in the video description. “I had to come back as soon as I could for another session.”
One interesting note: the brook trout isn’t actually a trout. It was originally described as “Salmo fontinalis,” but was later moved to the char genus “Salvelinus.” So while it’s called a trout, it’s actually a char.
So there you go.
