QDMA Hunter Games – Here’s your chance to show off your skills, win bragging rights and take home prizes. Multiple age groups will compete in mini activities that revolve around hunting and outdoor skills.
Youth Archery Range – Experience the feeling of shooting a compound bow with our lightweight draw Genesis and Mini Genesis bows. All gear is provided. Adult supervision and safe shooting instruction are available.
Airgun Range – Whether you’re a first-time shooter or simply want to assess your accuracy, test out the 10-yard Crossman Airgun Range. The supervised area provides a safe opportunity for attendees of all ages as well as provide shooting instructions if needed. Located near the KY Fish & Wildlife Booth.

Bowfishing Tryout Range – Extend your hunting season and keep your archery skills tuned by learning how to bowfish! People of all ages will have a chance shoot bowfishing bows into a water tank under supervision. There are right and left-handed bows available in youth sizes (10-20#) and adult sizes (30-50#). All bows are equipped with bowfishing reels, line and arrows.
Exhibitor Shooting Ranges – Try the latest models on the market at the bow tryout area. Bow manufacturers and retailers provide the opportunity to test any bow or crossbow of your choosing.
Hoverball Shooting – Take on World Famous Trick Shooter Byron Ferguson (pictured at top) with this fun, moving target game. Shoot lightweight bows with foam tipped arrows at bouncing balls floating on a column of air. Additional fees do apply. This is located next to Ferguson’s booth.
Trophy Deer Contest – The only thing better than looking at a display of trophy animals is when one of them is your own! Bring your best deer from any season to get an official score and have it displayed for everyone to see. A free weekend pass to the expo is included with a contest entry. All entries will be measured by the Hoosier Record Buck Program. Click here for more details.
