MN Deer & Turkey Show

MN Deer & Turkey Show Begins Feb. 26

The best showcase of Minnesota bucks under one roof is on tap at the inaugural Outdoor News Deer & Turkey Show, set for Feb. 26-28 at the Warner Coliseum on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

Show attendees will have the opportunity to interact with and take in seminars from deer and turkey experts and have their antlers scored for free by the Minnesota Official Measurers.

“The staff at Outdoor News aims to deliver the best whitetail show the state has ever seen,” said Rob Drieslein, president of Outdoor News, Inc. “Readers will be able to share and view the best bucks from 2015 – and some of greatest whitetails ever taken in Minnesota – and celebrate the hunting culture that’s such a vital part of our state’s outdoor lifestyle.”

The family-friendly show includes the Outdoor News Wild Trails Kids Zone, where there’s a laser shot, archery and pellet range, and live trout pond.

Show hours are 2 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 28. Tickets are $12 for adults or $10 for Outdoor News subscribers (must provide mailing label from your current edition). Active military (with valid ID) is $10, youths age 10 to 15 are $5, and kids 9 years old and younger are free.
