We cull the internet in search of the latest outdoors-related tidbits — YouTube clips, photos, memes, you name it. Stuff you HAVEN’T seen before, hopefully. If it’s amusing, entertaining, educational or astonishing, you’ll find it here. Check back every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and see what’s new.
Now here’s something you don’t see every day.
Not one but THREE all-white deer in a backyard in Vilas County, Wisconsin. My coworkers tell me that these are in fact NOT albino deer (fun fact: albino deer have pink eyes and pink noses), but are likely leucistic.
According to Wikipedia, leucism is a “condition in which there is partial loss of pigmentation, resulting in white, pale, or patchy coloration.” So there you have it.
You learn something every day.
