Bear Meatball Sandwich

Bear Meatball Sandwich

  • 1 lb ground bear meat
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Granulated garlic to taste
  • Olive oil
  • 14-oz. jar of spaghetti sauce
  • Sesame seed buns
  • Provolone or your favorite cheese


  1. In a bowl combine: meat, egg, onion, breadcrumbs, milk, garlic. salt, pepper, and garlic
  2. Form/roll into small balls and place them into a small baking pan
  3. Bake at 350°F. for 15 to 20 minutes until cooked throughly.
  4. Warm spaghetti sauce over medium heat while meatballs are cooking. When meatballs are done cooking, transfer them into the spaghetti sauce
  5. Spoon meatballs and spaghetti sauce onto your sesame seed bun and top with provolone or your favorite cheese

    we discovered the bear meat, is better if you can render off as much of the bear fat as possible. When baking the meatballs better to put on a rack or broiler pan for the fat to render off totally.
