RMEF Elk Camp National Convention in Vegas Dec. 3-6

Other events there include the National Finals Rodeo  and the Popular Cowboy Christmas (Dec. 3-12)

Four days of hunting seminars and a stage full of country music talent await attendees of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s Elk Camp national convention Dec. 3-6 at The Mirage and Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC).

The conservation organization features more than 205,000 members.

Seminar presenters include a variety of elk hunters such as TV host and RMEF board member  Randy Newberg, Bugle columnist Wayne van Zwoll, RMEF Team Elk featured member Kristy Titus, and will include tips from the Back Country Horsemen of America

Elk Camp, which is in the South Halls of the LVCC, coincides with the Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Exposition, which includes the first four days of the National Finals Rodeo, the Popular Cowboy Christmas (Dec. 3-12).

Terri Clark, Tracy Lawrence, Craig Morgan, Chuck Wicks and Mark Wills (pictured at top) will provide entertainment at Elk Camp evening events at The Mirage. Wicks and Wills will join fellow country music performing artists Chad Bushnell, Lucas Hoge, Erin Michelle, Jay Ketchem, and Genevieve Allen on the Cabela’s Live Stage located on the floor of the newly expanded Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Exposition.

The Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Exposition will feature the best in firearms, optics, archery, hunter apparel, and all things hunting and outdoors. It will include well-known industry leaders such as Browning, Federal Ammunition, PSE Archery, Polaris, Remington, Winchester, Yamaha and many others. The Exposition is also in the South Halls of the Convention Center, and is open to the public and is free!

Steven Rinella, previously announced as a guest speaker at Elk Camp, will also take part in a book signing on Friday, Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. at the RMEF Trading Post (Booth #1020) on the expo floor.
