Tales from the Field: Bucket List Elk!

Your kid’s priceless reaction after dropping his first buck. An epic pole-bender with the lunker of a lifetime. Awesome things happen in the Great Outdoors — and this is your place to Share The Thrill!

This week we’re featuring a story submitted by Larry L. of Columbus, Nebraska. His photo will be featured on the front cover of our August catalog!

“Bucket-list Nebraska bull elk hunt with my twin brother and lifelong hunting partner. My twin brother and I grew up together, learned to hunt and fish together, went to the same college, and have both worked at the same company for 35 years. He’s truly a lifelong hunting/fishing partner who “Shared The Thrill.” I survived a heart attack two years ago, so taking this 9×7 bull is an extra bucket list item. You’re only allowed to take one bull in a lifetime, so this is my first and last Nebraska bull elk.”
