If you needed a refresher course on how fast gators can move in the water, here it is.
Scott Larsen (aka Topwater Scott) was bass fishing in Florida when he had a run-in with a hungry gator.
Right at the start of the video you can see the gator eyeballing the fish. Scott tries to get the gator to back down, to no avail.
In a flash, the gator charges.
Florida bass fishing can be dangerous

Wow. That happened FAST.
Scott did the smart thing and kept the fish away from his body.
Despite his best efforts, the gator won’t let go. But there’s plenty of fish in the sea.
So hey, if you’re bass fishing in Florida, be careful. Let the gator take what he wants.
