Here Comes the Snow! Top Choices for Winter Clothes.

Newsworthy items from around the world, for the Sportsman like you!

A month or so ago, right around that 5th giant dinner or 10th piece of chocolate, you likely made a New Year’s resolution to get out there and be more active. Even if you didn’t, it’s not too late! Whether you want to explore the wintery trails or just play in the snow with the kids, you can count on Sportsman’s Guide® to help you stay warm and dry, and at great, low prices. Below are just some of the outstanding winter clothes I suggest you check out. Just click the title to buy or learn more!

Carhartt Waterproof Insulated Work GlovesCarhartt® Waterproof Insulated Work Gloves

One of our top-selling gloves! You know you can trust Carhartt® for workplace reliability. Now put them to the test for keeping your hands warm and dry for work OR play. These gloves have a durable shell but also an extra grippy palm in case you need to handle the shovel or reach for your train pass. Wear them commuting to work, shoveling your sidewalk, or building a snowman with junior.

Under Armour® Base™ 2.0Under Armour Base Layers

Under Armour® helps you perform your best, no matter the activity. These base layers keep you warm (2.0 is a good all-around base layer) while having a “next-to-skin” fit that has some compression, but won’t squeeze the air out of you. The result? Your muscles stay warm while energy is returned to them, helping you perform longer and better whether playing snow football or hiking through the woods. In fact, my cousin wore them while biking during a wintery New York City day. He said they were “great” and that they helped him stay out longer. 2.0 will have you covered, but Base™ also comes in other levels for greater warmth.

Women's Winter JacketWomen’s Guide Gear® Cascade Jacket

This jacket has the best of both worlds…winter warmth and cool style! It has a cozy, warm fleece lining. In fact, it’s so warm, one of the women here at Sportsman’s Guide® has worn hers when ice fishing. But along with essentials like pockets for your stuff and a hood to keep wind and snow off, it also comes in some really cute colors! Oh, there’s even a parka style, if you want a little extra coverage.

Military Style JacketSportier® Men’s Military Style Jacket

Personally, I’m a big fan of Sportier items. I like the way they look on me…they have some really slick style. And at absolutely unbeatable prices. This jacket is no exception. Like the title says, it has military style you’ll love, whether an army buff living in the suburbs or an urban warrior. And this jacket will keep you warm. Just check the reviews…I’m not alone when I talk about quality and value!

Women's Winter BootsWomen’s Kamik® Sugarloaf Winter Boots

Turn down for what? How about winter fashion! Yes, the plaid and folded-down fleece makes a chic statement to wear with skinny jeans or yoga pants. But these boots aren’t all good looks. They’re comfort rated to a whopping -40ÂşF (if for whatever crazy reason you were out in THAT cold). They’re waterproof for rainy or snowy days. They’re made from RubberHe®, which is lighter than “regular” rubber…so you don’t feel like you’re lugging tires around on your feet. And more…click the title to see even more specs as well!

I will definitely pass your feedback on to merchandising. Sometimes, this late in the season availability can be limited. In the meantime, search under 2X/3X or 2XL/3XL sizes to see some options. Plus, there are some lined pants still available on our website under 48 waist.
