Story: My first Yellowfinin Tuna over 200 pounds. It was caught on the San Diego, California, long range vessel Qualifier 105 at Clipperton Atoll. An island owned by France roughly 1,000 miles south of Cabo San Lucas. The "cow" was caught on a live Rainbow Runner on 100-pound tackle at sundown. After a little over an hour, the fish came to gaff. The official weight back in San Diego was 245.1 pounds. I also caught a 206-pounder and a 177-pounder, all on live Rainbow Runners.
