Started getting a few pics last year on trail cameras and this year I was able to pattern him and kill him on my 4th hunt. Shot with 270 cal.135 grain 2 times and 9 times with 40 cal.165 grain. Shot at 7:30 pm, weighted 587lbs, measured 85″ long, had a 65″girth, stood 38″ high with 3″ tusk. Had to drag it out of thicket with ropes and chains. It took a tractor with a boom to load this monster in my truck. The owner of the farm was very happy for me to remove this pigzilla from his property. I was really amazed by the size of this beast. I was expecting about a 350-400 pounder according to trail camera pics, boy was I fooled. The pics DO NOT do him justice.

Great Job Mr. Dixon
I’ve been looking for someone who owns land in or near Johnston County who would allow me to hunt wild pig. I’ve looked at different sites and found some important information on how and when to hunt.
If you could reach out to me in a email, on landowners who would allow to to hunt, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks In Advance
