Story: I did a grunt sequence and about 10 minutes later noticed a small movement. He had somehow snuck within 35 yards of me without being noticed. He was on the same trail that a doe had used an hour and a half earlier. The buck stood behind some trees for almost 10 minutes looking for the source of the grunt and finally stepped out and turned my way for a quartering shot. I was in a tree stand with my Ozonics and after 20 minutes from start of my grunting he dropped in his tracks. The shot went through his shoulder and clipped the top of his hear,t which caused him to lurch into the air and land with his antlers hitting and lodging into the trail with his head upside down. Picture was where he went down.
