Story: As a disabled veteran coming home from tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, I find the outdoors helps me keep my mind off of things. I used my skills from the Army to find a saddle deep in the mountains by using a topo map. Once finding the spot it looked like a deer heaven. During my first set up, 15 minutes after daylight, this nice 10-point was 10 yards away. I made my shot sending a Thunderhead broadhead through the buck. After about 30 yards he went down! The green score is 149-7/8 Pope and Young. It may not be the biggest buck, but to this old soldier it sure feels good to be back in the woods!
