Two Guys Narrowly Escape an EPIC Mudslide [VIDEO]

If you needed a reminder about the destructive power of a mudslide, here it is.

Francis Silvaggio and his team from Global News were shooting footage near Johnson’s Landing, British Columbia, when they nearly got swallowed up by a mudslide that seemed to come out of nowhere.

Two crewmembers in another boat were on-shore just a few moments before mud and trees came crashing into the water——and were fortunate to make a narrow escape.

As you can see, the mud hits the water with an unbelievable ferocity, uprooting trees with ease. You can imagine what it would do to a boat that got caught in its path.

And just when the crew of the second boat thought they were safe, the boat almost gets speared by a pair of surfacing logs. It wouldn’t surprise me if those logs went right through the hull.

Crazy stuff. We’re thankful that everybody is safe——and that cameras were rolling the whole time.
