Pope & Young Proghorn Antelope

Coolest hunt ever, young lady guide and her horse walked me to within 47 yards of this buck. She walked along side at the horses front legs and I along side at his back legs. Took 45 minutes to work our way into this buck and a dozen does. They ignore the horse and us too, I guess they see other grazing animals on the prairie so they don’t get alarmed. Once we were within bow range I draw as she moves the horse out of my way. The arrow went low but made contact, it was almost 9 hours later until we finally stalked in on him, it took two more arrows to bring him down. What a day!
