September Morning on The Big Horn

I was fly fishing the Big Horn River in Montana below Fort Smith. In the early morning, the Tricos were coming off and we were waiting for the Browns and Rainbows with our imitations that the trout ate with abandon. It snowed the first week of September, but soon as it warmed up, the fishing got hot with lots of surface activity.
